The Lightest Travel Strollers of 2026, Ranked by Weight

Weight is the spec you feel most on travel days: carrying the stroller up train-station stairs, lifting it into an overhead bin, or holding it folded in one arm while you hold your child in the other. This list ranks every stroller in our shortlist by manufacturer-listed stroller weight, lightest first.

How this list is ranked

Ranked strictly by manufacturer-listed stroller weight (without accessories). Ties keep the smaller folded size first. Specs come from each manufacturer’s current US listing - see our methodology.

    • 10.4 lb
    • 13.8 × 11.8 × 7.1 in
    • 6+ months · up to 55 lb
    • Fits 5/5 airlines

An exceptionally small, light package at 10.4 lb. Tradeoff: Recline, leg rest, one-hand fold, suspension and basket capacity were not confirmed, so those features earn no points.

  2. 2Mompush Nexis

    Mompush Nexis

    ~$200

    • 11.5 lb
    • 18.1 × 7.9 × 19.1 in
    • From birth · up to 50 lb
    • Fits 0/5 airlines

Full recline from birth, all-wheel suspension and a low price for a newborn-ready pick. Tradeoff: Sources disagree on total weight (11.5-13.9 lb depending on listing), and car-seat compatibility and leg rest weren’t confirmed.

  3. 3MAMAZING Ultra Air

    MAMAZING Ultra Air

    ~$270

    • 11.6 lb
    • 10.6 × 17.5 × 20.7 in
    • 6+ months · up to 50 lb
    • Fits 2/5 airlines

Only 11.6 lb with a large 22 lb basket and one-hand fold. Tradeoff: Not car-seat compatible and not newborn-ready. Its compact folded size assumes the front bumper bar is removed first.

  4. 4Joolz Dot

    Joolz Dot

    ~$399

    • 12.2 lb
    • 8.4 × 16.9 × 21 in
    • 6+ months · up to 50 lb
    • Fits 2/5 airlines

The lowest listed weight in this shortlist. Tradeoff: Suspension and one-hand folding were not confirmed, so those features earn no points, and its recline is two-position rather than flat.

  5. 5Zoe Traveler

    Zoe Traveler

    ~$279

    • 13 lb
    • 18.5 × 21.5 × 9.5 in
    • 3+ months · up to 45 lb
    • Fits 0/5 airlines

Low weight, a padded recline and one of the lower prices in this shortlist. Tradeoff: Not compatible with any infant car seat, and suspension wasn’t confirmed by the manufacturer.

  6. 6Mountain Buggy Nano V3

    Mountain Buggy Nano V3

    ~$175

    • 13 lb
    • 20 × 12 × 21 in
    • From birth · up to 44 lb
    • Fits 0/5 airlines

Low weight, an included travel satchel and a lie-flat newborn-capable seat (with the cocoon accessory). Tradeoff: A 44 lb child-weight limit is lower than most of this shortlist, one-hand fold is a "flick out" style rather than automatic, and its folded size exceeds every tracked airline’s published carry-on box - though Mountain Buggy and real owners both report it often gets accepted anyway.

  7. 7Graco Ready2Jet

    Graco Ready2Jet

    ~$190

    • 13.2 lb
    • 23.9 × 19.5 × 11 in
    • 6+ months · up to 50 lb
    • Fits 0/5 airlines

Low weight, all-wheel suspension and one of the lowest prices in this shortlist. Tradeoff: Basket capacity isn’t published, and the standalone seat is suggested for 6 months and up rather than from birth.

  8. 8CYBEX Libelle

    CYBEX Libelle

    ~$350

    • 13.7 lb
    • 12.6 × 7.8 × 18.9 in
    • 6+ months · up to 55 lb
    • Fits 5/5 airlines

The smallest folded volume in this shortlist. Tradeoff: The seat is not for babies under 6 months, and it needs both hands to fold and unfold.

  9. 9Stokke YOYO³ 6+

    Stokke YOYO³ 6+

    ~$449

    • 13.7 lb
    • 20.5 × 17.3 × 7.1 in
    • 6+ months · up to 48.5 lb
    • Fits 2/5 airlines

One-hand fold, all-wheel suspension, a multi-position recline and a proven ultra-compact shape. Tradeoff: Not newborn-ready in this configuration, and leg-rest was not confirmed.

  10. 10Silver Cross Clic

    Silver Cross Clic

    ~$400

    • 13.9 lb
    • 21 × 18 × 9 in
    • From birth · up to 55 lb
    • Fits 1/5 airlines

Lie-flat newborn recline, one-hand self-standing fold and a 55 lb capacity. Tradeoff: Suspension was not published, so it earns no points.

Frequently asked questions

What is the lightest travel stroller?

In our shortlist, the gb Pockit Air All-Terrain is the lightest at 10.4 lb, followed by the Mompush Nexis at 11.5 lb.

Is a lighter stroller always better for travel?

Not always. The very lightest strollers usually give up something - suspension, recline, basket size or a from-birth seat. Under about 15 lb is light enough for most families; below that, compare the tradeoffs rather than chasing every ounce.

Does stroller weight matter for airlines?

Sometimes. American Airlines, for example, states that a fully collapsible stroller under 20 lb may be carried into the cabin if it fits the overhead bin. Most airlines focus on folded size rather than weight, so check both.
