Effective September 11, 2026. This policy describes the StrollerSelect travel stroller comparison website, intended for adults researching products for their families.

Quiz answers

The finder processes answers in your browser. It does not require a name, account, email, date of birth or payment information. We do not send your child’s age or weight to Google measurement tools. Quiz answers are not stored on our server and are cleared when the page reloads.

Optional measurement

Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement load automatically by default once site measurement IDs are configured — we do not show a popup asking permission first. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, measurement stays off automatically. Otherwise, you can turn it off at any time using “Privacy choices” in the footer, and your choice is remembered for future visits. If measurement IDs are not configured, no Google tags load regardless. You can use the full finder either way.

If you allow measurement, Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, device/browser characteristics, cookie identifiers and ad click attribution. We measure page visits, quiz starts, question progress, completion, recommendation views and merchant clicks. Events can include product, merchant, rank and non-child-related preference choices such as budget and trip type.

We do not enable Google Signals or personalized advertising, and set advertising user-data and personalization consent to denied. Page locations sent with analytics events omit query strings and fragments. Google may still process advertising identifiers under the measurement consent you grant. See Google’s privacy policy.

Session recording

We use Inspectlet to record anonymized visitor sessions — mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and page views — so we can see where the finder is confusing or where people get stuck. Unlike the Google measurement above, Inspectlet currently loads for every visitor and is not gated by the consent banner or Global Privacy Control, so we are disclosing it plainly here rather than only in a cookie banner. It does not capture your child’s age or weight, and quiz answers are not sent to Inspectlet as identifiable form data. Inspectlet may mask sensitive on-page text automatically; we do not rely on that alone and avoid putting anything sensitive on the page in the first place. See Inspectlet’s privacy policy.

Your choices and browser storage

Measurement is on by default; we store your choice in local storage only after you change it, so you do not have to repeat that choice on every page. Google may set measurement cookies since measurement runs by default unless you turn it off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Use “Privacy choices” in the footer to turn measurement off at any time; doing so stops future measurement events and clears existing measurement cookies. Your browser can also delete stored cookies and local data.

Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this site keeps optional Google measurement disabled. Blocking cookies or scripts does not block the comparison itself.

Hosting and links

The hosting provider may process request details such as IP address, request time, URL and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Our planned production host is Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s policy.

Clicking a merchant link opens a separate website. That merchant or affiliate network may use cookies or identifiers to attribute a purchase and applies its own privacy policy. We do not receive your card or checkout information.

Retention and data requests

Quiz inputs last only for the current page session. The saved measurement choice remains until you change it or clear your browser storage. Any configured Google measurement uses that account’s retention settings; hosting providers control their own operational retention.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal data and to opt out of certain processing. Contact: the site contact channel has not yet been configured. Do not send sensitive information through quiz fields.

We will update this page when the site’s data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
