Overview
The Metro 3 is Ergobaby’s newborn-ready option in this shortlist, built around an integrated Newborn Nest insert rather than a separate bassinet. Ergobaby’s US FAQ lists a stroller weight of 17.1 lb without accessories, and the fold packs to about 56 × 44 × 23 cm.
It includes a near-flat recline and one-hand folding, with compatible car seat adapters sold separately.
The Stroller Mom, reviewing after travel with a newborn, called the seat “one of the most plush and padded” she’d tested and said the near-flat recline was “one of the best in the US.”
