Fold and portability
The Butterfly 2 Plus folds to 17.6 × 9.6 × 21.8 in and fits the carry-on box of 2 of the 5 airlines we track. The YOYO³ 6+ folds to 20.5 × 17.3 × 7.1 in and fits 2 of 5. Comfort and ride
For naps and rough ground, the Butterfly 2 Plus offers fully flat recline to fully upright, all-wheel suspension and a 17.6 lb basket, while the YOYO³ 6+ offers multi-position recline, all-wheel suspension and a 22 lb basket.
Newborn use
From-birth use with the fully reclining seat and built-in newborn foot cover; no separate accessory required. Seat is for 6+ months in this configuration. Stokke sells a separate newborn pack bundle for birth use, not ranked in this version.

The Butterfly 2 Plus is the pricier of the two at around $579, against around $449 for the YOYO³ 6+, a gap of roughly $130.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Plus if you’re traveling with a baby under 6 months, want a fully flat recline in the stroller itself, and don’t need the extra basket space.
Choose the Stokke YOYO³ 6+ if your child is already 6 months or older and you want the lighter stroller with the smaller folded volume and the bigger 22 lb basket.
