Overview
The Ready2Jet and Libelle both start at 6 months and weigh within half a pound of each other, but they solve the compact-travel problem very differently. The Ready2Jet leans on a fully automatic, self-standing fold and all-wheel suspension at a budget price. The Libelle chases the smallest possible folded volume instead, at more than double the cost.
Fold and portability
The Ready2Jet folds to 23.9 × 19.5 × 11 in with one-hand automatic activation and stands on its own once collapsed. The Libelle folds much smaller at 12.6 × 7.8 × 18.9 in, but needs both hands to fold and unfold. Check the exact airline-by-airline fit on each product's own page - the Ready2Jet's bulkier fold is a real factor for tight overhead bins.
Comfort and ride
The Ready2Jet has confirmed all-wheel suspension against the Libelle's front-wheel-only suspension. The Libelle counters with a near-flat recline, an adjustable leg rest and a confirmed 11 lb basket, while the Ready2Jet's recline is multi-position rather than flat and its basket capacity isn't published.
Newborn use
Graco’s own suggested age range is 6 months up to 5 years for the standalone seat. From-birth use is only via a separately sold, compatible Graco SnugRide infant car seat, a travel-system configuration this shortlist does not rank. Seat is for 6+ months. A compatible infant car seat is sold separately; this finder does not rank that configuration.
Price
The Libelle is the pricier of the two at around $349.95, against around $189.99 for the Ready2Jet - a gap of roughly $160.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the Graco Ready2Jet if you want an automatic one-hand fold and all-wheel suspension without paying a premium price, and a slightly bulkier folded size is an acceptable trade-off.
Choose the CYBEX Libelle if the smallest possible folded volume matters most and you don't mind a two-handed fold and a higher price.
