The Aer² and this YOYO³ 6+ listing take different approaches to age range: the Aer² is ready for a newborn as sold, while this YOYO³ 6+ configuration is built for 6 months and up, with a separate newborn pack sold if you want to use it earlier. Past that stage, both are proven, well-reviewed compacts with all-wheel suspension.

Fold and portability

Comfort and ride

The Aer²'s recline goes all the way to fully flat, while the YOYO³ 6+ offers a multi-position recline that stops short of that. The YOYO³ 6+ pulls ahead on storage with a 22 lb basket against the Aer²'s 17.6 lb. Both fold one-handed and use all-wheel suspension.

Newborn use

Current US listing includes a baby net for newborn use. Use the required newborn configuration; older versions may differ. Seat is for 6+ months in this configuration. Stokke sells a separate newborn pack bundle for birth use, not ranked in this version.

The Aer² is the pricier of the two at around $549, against around $449 for the YOYO³ 6+.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the Joolz Aer² if you're buying before your baby arrives and want one stroller that's ready from day one.

Choose the Stokke YOYO³ 6+ if your child is already 6 months or older, since it's lighter, flatter-folding and cheaper once the newborn stage isn't a factor.
