Overview

The YOYO³ 6+ and Dot both start at 6 months rather than birth, and both are built to be as light as possible. The YOYO³ 6+ confirms more features - suspension, one-hand fold, a large basket - while the Dot keeps things deliberately minimal.

Fold and portability

Folded, the YOYO³ 6+ measures 20.5 × 17.3 × 7.1 in at 13.7 lb; the Dot is the lighter of the two at 12.2 lb, folding to 8.4 × 16.9 × 21 in.

Comfort and ride

The YOYO³ 6+ has confirmed all-wheel suspension and a 22 lb basket - one of the largest in this shortlist. Recline, suspension and one-hand fold weren't confirmed for the Dot in its current US listing, so it scores on low weight alone.

Newborn use

Seat is for 6+ months in this configuration. Stokke sells a separate newborn pack bundle for birth use, not ranked in this version. Dot: Not suitable from birth. Seat is for 6+ months.

Price

The Dot is the more affordable option at around $399, against around $449 for the YOYO³ 6+.

Which one should you buy?

Choose the Stokke YOYO³ 6+ if you want a proven, feature-confirmed compact with real suspension and a big basket.

Choose the Joolz Dot if the lowest possible weight and price matter more than confirmed extras.
