Fold and portability
The Minu V3 folds to 10 × 18 × 21.5 in and fits the carry-on box of 1 of the 5 airlines we track. The YOYO³ 6+ folds to 20.5 × 17.3 × 7.1 in and fits 2 of 5. The YOYO³ 6+ is the lighter of the two at 13.7 lb, against 16.7 lb for the Minu V3. See each airline’s stroller policy for the fine print.
Comfort and ride
For naps and rough ground, the Minu V3 offers deep recline with carriage mode, all-wheel suspension and a 20 lb basket, while the YOYO³ 6+ offers multi-position recline, all-wheel suspension and a 22 lb basket.
Newborn use
Use the built-in carriage mode for newborns, following the manual. Seat is for 6+ months in this configuration. Stokke sells a separate newborn pack bundle for birth use, not ranked in this version.
Price
The Minu V3 is the pricier of the two at around $500, against around $449 for the YOYO³ 6+, a gap of roughly $51.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the UPPAbaby Minu V3 if you need a stroller usable from birth, thanks to its carriage mode, and plan to use it as your everyday stroller at home too.
