Best Travel Strollers to Buy on Black Friday 2026
Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026, with Cyber Monday on November 30 - though most US retailers now start their baby-gear promotions in the first half of November and run them through the weekend.
Looking for a bigger everyday stroller rather than a compact travel one? Read the best strollers to buy on Black Friday instead.
A stroller is one of the few baby purchases where waiting for a sale genuinely pays, because the prices are high enough for a discount to matter. But travel strollers do not behave like TVs. Here is what actually happens, what we would buy, and the price we would hold out for.
What really gets discounted
Set your expectations by category rather than by hype:
- Premium brands move the least. Flagship compacts from the big names tend to hold their price, and when they do move, it is a modest cut or a gift-card offer rather than half off.
- Budget and mid-range models move the most. This is where you see the biggest percentage cuts - and where an extra $60 off changes which stroller you buy.
- Colors and bundles are where the discounts hide. The deepest cuts are usually on one or two colorways, or on a bundle that adds an accessory you may not want.
- Last-generation models get cleared out. Often the single best value of the weekend, as long as you know that is what you are buying - see the trap below.
Our Black Friday watchlist
These are the models US parents ask about most, plus the value picks we would watch. The buy-it price is our own threshold - 20% below our reference price - not a prediction and not a claim about previous years. If a listing beats it, the deal is real.
| Stroller | Reference price | Our buy-it price | Why watch it |
|---|---|---|---|
Nuna TRVL lx | ~$600 | $480 | A premium price that leaves room to fall. Gate-check stroller, not a cabin one. |
UPPAbaby Minu V3 | ~$500 | $400 | The everyday-and-travel crossover most families cross-shop. |
Joolz Aer² | ~$549 | $440 | Our top all-rounder: from birth, full-flat, one-hand fold. |
Stokke YOYO³ 6+ | ~$449 | $360 | The benchmark compact. Rarely cheap, so a real cut is worth acting on. |
CYBEX Libelle | ~$350 | $280 | Already good value, and the smallest fold we track. |
Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Plus | ~$579 | $465 | From birth with a fully flat seat; the priciest of the compacts. |
Doona Car Seat & Stroller | ~$550 | $440 | Car seat and stroller in one. Check whether the LATCH base is in the box. |
Graco Ready2Jet | ~$190 | $150 | Budget pick. Under our target it is hard to argue with. |
Reference prices are the US figures we track on each review page and they move during the year. Always confirm the current price, the exact model and what is in the box at checkout.

What to buy, by what you need
If you are flying
Buy for your airline's carry-on box, not for the discount. The CYBEX Libelle (13.7 lb) and the Inglesina Quid³ both fit the published box of all five airlines we track; the Joolz Aer² fits two of five. Check the size chart before you shop, and your carrier's rules on our airline pages.
If the baby is not here yet
You want a stroller usable from birth: the Joolz Aer² (baby net included), the Bugaboo Butterfly 2 Plus (fully flat) or the Mompush Nexis if the budget is tight. Full list: travel strollers for newborns.
If you mostly drive
Folded volume and car-seat compatibility matter more than cabin fit. See the road trip picks; the Doona Car Seat & Stroller is the extreme version of that idea, being the car seat itself.
If your child is already walking
Look at the weight limit, not the newborn features. Our toddler list ranks by how long each one lasts.
Four traps to avoid
- Buying the wrong generation. This is the big one. Discounted listings are often the previous version - Doona+ rather than Doona X, an older YOYO rather than the current one, a V2 frame rather than a V3. That can be a bargain or a disappointment; just know which one is in the box before you buy.
- Assuming the accessories are included. Travel bags, car-seat adapters, rain covers and storage baskets are separate purchases on most travel strollers. A cheaper stroller plus $120 of accessories is not cheaper.
- Buying on percentage, not on fit. A 30% discount on a stroller that does not fit your airline, your trunk or your child's age is not a deal.
- Missing the return window. If it is a gift for a baby arriving later, check how long you have to return it. Some retailers extend returns over the holidays; many do not.
What to do before November 27
- Shortlist two or three models now, while you can think clearly. Our 6-question finder takes about a minute.
- Write down your buy-it price for each one, using the table above.
- Check the folded size against your airline with Will It Fit, so a good price never tempts you into the wrong size.
- Set price alerts at the retailers you would actually buy from, and check the price history rather than trusting a "was" price on the page.
- Decide about the car seat too. If you are buying a travel system, the sale is a good moment to buy the matching pieces together.
Will prices drop again after Black Friday?
Sometimes. Cyber Monday repeats much of the weekend online, and there is usually a second wave in mid-December for gift buyers, plus clearance in January when new model years land. If you are not in a hurry and your shortlist is stable, waiting costs you nothing. If you are traveling in December, buy when the price hits your number and stop watching.
We will update this page
We do not publish deals we have not checked. As offers go live in November we will add the ones that beat the buy-it prices above, with the exact model and what is in the box. Nothing here is paid placement: our rankings never take payment.
